Freeland sells, among other things, the red and yellow onions. We sell onions from the Netherlands, Spain, Egypt, Morocco, India and China. Both conventional and organic.

Bulk transport is also possible. Large volumes are available for supermarkets but also for processing industries. We have been working with reliable growers for many years. Programs are certainly possible.

Iceberg lettuce originally came from California. The lettuce is popular in many countries. Freeland offers its customers iceberg lettuce from various countries, but the largest volume comes from growers in the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and Poland.

Iceberg lettuce is available in various sizes. Special wishes for the labelling can be accommodated. Convenience products are still undergoing enormous growth and Freeland can supply iceberg lettuce with the right specifications for this industry.

Own growers, close collaboration agreements and a large European network ensure that Freeland can always offer iceberg lettuce.

Celeriac is the solid root of the celery plant. The tuber partly grows underground and therefore deviates from its family members: the celery leaf and celery. The tuber is brownish yellow in colour while the pulp is lighter and has a mild, spicy taste. The tuber is especially important for growth, but you can also eat the leaves, in a soup for example. Often, celeriac is sold in early spring with some foliage.

Spring onions have a fresh, slightly spicy oniony taste. You can use it for all kinds of meals and is widely used in Asian dishes. For most of the year we bring them in from Germany. From January to early April we import from Egypt the Photon variety in boxes of 14 pcs.

Each purpose requires its own potato. Shape, cooking characteristics, colour, taste etc. If you indicate what you are looking for, we will find the most suitable potato for you. Both organic and conventional potatoes are available. We can offer you sizes from 35+ up to 60+. The potatoes can be offered both brushed and washed. The potatoes can be delivered in Big Bag, 25kg net bag, 10 kg net bag, 5kg net bag and 2 kg packaging.

We also have grill potatoes. These are suitable for roasting or stuffing. We offer you a choice of two different brands; Big Grillers and Castle Grillers. Both brands offer the sizes/weights:  S/M/L/XL /XXL/70mm in a 15 kg box.

Broccoli belongs to the same family as cauliflower. Freeland export figures show that broccoli is gaining in popularity in many countries. Various growers both at home and abroad grow particularly for the supermarkets. Exact weights and callibrations to suit your wishes are also possible.

Broccoli is not only tasty but it is also very healthy.

China cabbage is a type of cabbage that is sold a great deal by Freeland. It can be supplied all the year round and is grown in the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Spain.

The vegetable is traded as a fresh product for the most of the year but comes from storage during the winter period. Various growers both at home and abroad have the knowledge and cooling systems to be able to quarantee perfect quality. Some growers have CA (controlled atmosphere) stores available. This guarantees a perfect product. As well as this fresh supplies from Spain are available in the winter.

Winter carrots are large, fleshy carrots with a bright orange colour. The core is slightly lighter in tint. You can store winter carrots for a few weeks so you’ll always have some at hand. It is believed that the first carrots were grown in the Netherlands and Belgium in the 15th century. After significant cross breeding the carrot went on a journey throughout Europe two centuries later. In the Netherlands, baby carrots and winter carrots are grown on over 7,000 hectares of very fertile land, and you can taste it. Raw and properly washed, carrots are a tasty, healthy and crispy snack, but you can also cook, bake, stir fry and stew carrots in all kind of dishes.

This product is becoming increasingly popular in recent years. The sweet potato is not a potato but a vegetable. The taste is sweet and sweet potatoes can be used in both savoury and sweet dishes.

Beauregard
We import the variety Beauregard from Egypt. This variety has a red/orange peel and orange pulp. We can offer the Beauregard both washed and brushed in 6kg boxes in the sizes S/M/L1/L2/XL

Covington
The Covington variety of sweet potato comes from the USA. This has and orange peel and orange pulp.
